English
   1. Is there a fee for publication?
No fees are currently charged for publication.

   2. Should manuscripts be sent in both languages?
Manuscripts can be sent in either language. If accepted they will be translated, but, once accepted, if the author wishes to do the translation, he is welcome to do it himself.

   3. Is there a fee for translations?
No fees are charged for translation of the manuscripts. Técnica Pecuaria en México is currently funded by INIFAP and CONACYT.

   4. How long does the evaluation process take?
Currently this process takes some 80 days, depending on the discipline and subject of the manuscript.

   5. Who evaluates the manuscripts?
More than 200 referees for all the disciplines covered by our journal assess the manuscripts received for publication. The referees are internationally known researchers from Mexico and abroad who do not know who the authors are. Usually referees evaluate manuscripts from research institutions other than their own.

   6. Can a Library subscribe to Técnica Pecuaria en México?
Libraries can subscribe to our journal. It will be sent to them free of charge as a donation or for interchange.

   7. Is there a maximum length for manuscripts?
Manuscripts should be no more than twenty pages long, not including title page, graphs or tables. A maximum of 8 tables and/or graphs is allowed.

   8. Can papers previously published as abstracts be sent for publication?
There's no problem about publishing papers previously published as abstracts (usually no more than one page long). If the paper was published as a condensed review (two or more pages long), this review should be sent with the paper for evaluation.
